I am a civil/environmental engineer and hydrologist dedicated to sustainable water resource management and community development, particularly through clean water projects in underserved global communities. Rooted in the love of Christ and guided by my Catholic faith, I strive to share compassion, hope, and solidarity. I invite you to join me in this mission of engineering with faith!
Throughout my career, I have been honored to work alongside communities, governments, and non-governmental organizations around the world. My experience includes agricultural education and development in Uganda, community-based conservation of the Amazon River in Peru, river disaster management in Bangladesh, and involvement in clean water projects that enhance community development efforts.
I began serving with CEC in September 2025, which has been a blessed opportunity to integrate my faith with engineering expertise while connecting with people across diverse cultures. I hope that through this service, our CEC team - along with our community of collaborators, family, friends, and supporters - can truly "do small things with great love" (Mother Teresa) while making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in deep need.

From March 19-31, 2026, I will join a small CEC team of four in rural Cameroon. We will partner with residents in the villages of Bandam, Nguingklo, Ashong Batiba, and Bwiteva to implement clean water projects that focus on improving sanitation and hygiene. This collaborative effort in community development is projected to bring clean water to 21,920 people, combining engineering with faith to create lasting change.

Optimize New Systems: Inspect and fine-tune newly installed wells and water distribution systems in Bandam and Nguingklo as part of our clean water projects. Plan for the Future: Assess sites and needs for upcoming engineering projects in Ashong Batiba and Bwiteva, ensuring community development aligns with local requirements. Promote Health & Sustainability: Support hygiene education in schools and homes while partnering with local leaders to maintain these initiatives for generations to come through engineering with faith. This work will provide long-term access to safe water — the foundation for health, education, and opportunity.

This trip's clean water projects have been graciously funded through Rotary International, Spirit of Christ Catholic Church (Arvada, CO), and the Haywoods, but all travel costs are self-funded. Without support for travel, this vital community development work cannot happen.
Your donation will:
Cover my travel costs so I can serve on the ground in Cameroon
Support medical, educational, and relief supplies
Encourage our CEC team as we engage in engineering with faith to build a future of ongoing service trips to global communities in need.
💙 Truly, any amount makes a difference!

(Note: Using the general donation form on the CEC website will direct your gift to the organization's broader mission—also a wonderful way to give!)
While the Cameroon trip is the most immediate need, ongoing support is vital for future service, including an assessment trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo planned for June 2027. This trip will focus on engineering with faith to improve local communities. More information to come on that!
Thank you for prayerfully considering partnering with me in this meaningful work. Your support makes this mission possible.
